How to play CS 1.6 with bots
Bots are built into the client: play offline, warm up your aim and learn maps. Set up a match below — the panel mirrors the client’s window, and the site writes the console commands for you.

The same match from the console
Press ~ in the game, paste and hit Enter. Or save it as bots.cfg in the cstrike folder and type exec bots.cfg.
Through the menu
- In the main menu open New game.
- Go to the Game with bots tab and pick a map.
- Tick “Enable bots in this game”, set Number of bots and Difficulty.
- Press Start — the match starts on your computer.
